Questions, answered
Everything people ask us before their first ride. Something else on your mind — write us any time: ridebriskway@gmail.com.
What does “no surge” mean?
Your price is agreed before the ride and frozen when you book. Rain, rush hour or a busy Friday night don’t change it. The number you see is the number you pay.
How much does a ride cost?
Hourly rides around the GTA are $49/hour with 40 km and unlimited stops included. Airport transfers (YYZ) are $69. Niagara is a fixed $145. Pre-launch prices — final rates will be confirmed at launch.
Where does Briskway operate?
Across Southern Ontario: all of the GTA plus Hamilton, Kitchener, Blue Mountains and Barrie, and the Niagara Region. Going further? Send a personal quote request — we price those individually.
How do I book a ride?
Over Telegram — no app to install, one chat and your price is locked. We’re launching soon; join the waitlist and we’ll message you the day we start driving.
What happens if my trip runs longer than an hour?
Past the first hour or 40 km, it’s simply +$1 per extra minute. No hidden multipliers.
How does the Niagara fare work?
$145 flat to any address in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Thorold, Welland, Port Colborne or Fort Erie. Over 150 km, add $1 per extra km. To or from Pearson, add the $20 airport fee.
How many passengers can ride?
Up to 4 in a Sedan or SUV. Up to 6 in an SUV or Minivan for an extra $15.
Is the calculator price final?
It’s an estimate for right now — traffic or weather can shift the final quote. Once you book, the price freezes and stays frozen.
How do I get 20% off my first ride?
Join the waitlist and answer the quick question about which services you’d use — the discount is saved to your contact and applied at launch.
